Job summary

Palm Beach Tan - Danbury, CT is seeking a store supervisor to lead daily operations, coach staff, and deliver outstanding customer service in a wellness-focused retail setting.

The role includes meeting sales goals, training new employees, managing scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety, banking, and labor standards. Starting pay is $21 per hour plus commission and bonus opportunities; benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees.
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers.
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics.
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales.
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements.
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance.
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
