Talent Acquisition Manager at Industrial Metal Supply Co.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an IMS store. Ensures that the highest quality standards and exceptional customer service are maintained and provided at all times. Collaborates with the Human Resources Department to train store employees. Contributes to the maintenance of company property and the cleanliness and organization of stores and the products sold within. Performs related work as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
With Minimal Supervision and Direction:
- Makes every effort to exceed customers’ expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assists the Human Resources Department in hiring, training, and developing store employees.
- Effectively manages the employee development process through mentoring, setting goals and expectations; coaching and counseling as required, and performing employee appraisals and evaluations.
- Develops and monitors individual employee training plans to continually increase knowledge and experience.
- Administers employee staffing schedules and recommends routine and seasonal hours of operation.
- Assists with the upkeep and preservation of company assets, including buildings, equipment, and employee amenities, adhering to preventive maintenance guidelines and safety standards.
- Manages store inventory and reports findings to purchasing for resolution.
- Displays and markets retail items to promote customer interest and encourage sales.
- Keeps store products organized, clearly identified, and properly priced.
- Surveys customers to identify potential new products and communicates these ideas to Purchasing, Store Operations, and Management.
- Manages the store ordering process, including responding to inquiries, providing quotations, and fulfilling orders.
- Motivates and coaches store employees to create a positive atmosphere and improve customer experience.
- Manages store to meet budget requirements and sets sales targets for individual sales staff.
- Reviews individual and team sales performance regularly to target profitability.
- Establishes competitive pricing criteria for company goods and services.
- Handles cash management, including daily balance sheets, register records, and bank deposits.
- Manages store safety programs, emphasizing the wellbeing of customers and employees, and coaches staff on safety protocols.
- Prioritizes store workflow related to receiving, stocking, pulling, processing, and delivering orders.
- Drives on company business as needed.
- Performs other duties as required.
