Job Responsibilities

  5. Maintain strong product knowledge for selling, merchandising, and providing feedback.
  6. Ensure professional appearance of all associates according to dress code policies.
General Description
Generate Sales
  1. Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
  2. Meet or exceed company objectives in all measurable areas of the business.

  4. Follow visual merchandising guidelines, including signage and store cleanliness.
  5. Maintain strong product knowledge for selling, merchandising, and providing feedback.
  6. Ensure professional appearance of all associates according to dress code policies.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Control Expenses
  1. Protect company assets within retail policies.
  2. Prepare store schedules ensuring proper coverage while controlling wages.
  3. Manage inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, and pricing.
  4. Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping, complying with laws.
  5. Open and close the store following operational procedures.
Supervise Associates
  1. Manage store staff through training, goal setting, and follow-up.
  2. Recruit, develop, and train personnel to meet operational goals.
  3. Handle disciplinary actions following company policies and approval from higher management.
  4. Ensure compliance with policies, safeguarding inventory and property.
  5. Perform supervisory duties as needed and communicate effectively across all levels.
  6. Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge & Skills
  1. Post-secondary education (2 years) and 1 year of related experience or equivalent.
  2. Ability to produce sales results and minimize loss.
  3. Proven supervisory skills and capacity to train and assess staff.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Computer proficiency and ability to operate relevant software.
  6. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with hands overhead.
  7. Standing for up to 100% of the work time.
  8. Willingness to travel overnight for training and meetings.
