QUICK LUBE in the North Houston/Spring area is hiring a hands-on Store Manager to run day-to-day operations in a high-volume oil change shop. This working manager role requires leading the driveway team, owning the numbers, and ensuring a top customer experience in a clean, stocked, and profitable shop.

The role covers full store responsibility: people, service quality, inventory, sales, and building conditions, with weekend coverage and on-site duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule technicians and service advisors; set the standard for speed, quality, and appearance.
• Deliver a consistent, high-trust customer experience—greet, explain work, resolve issues, and earn repeat and fleet business.
• Own inventory: weekly counts, ordering, shrinkage control, and bay readiness (oil, filters, wipers, additives, shop supplies).
• Hit sales and car-count goals; grow fleet accounts and community relationships.
• Open and close the store; maintain a clean, safe shop and driveway.
• Hire, train, coach, and document performance. Handle timekeeping and daily cash/POS closeout.
• Report results to ownership; flag problems early and fix them.

Store Manager

A locally owned quick‑lube shop in the north Houston / Spring area is hiring a hands‑on Store Manager to run day‑to‑day operations. This is a working manager role: you will lead the team on the driveway, own the numbers, protect the customer experience, and keep the shop clean, stocked, and profitable.

The Role

You will be accountable for the full store: people, service quality, inventory, sales, and the building. Typical week includes floor coverage, opening/closing, coaching technicians, inventory counts, and following up on fleet and retail customers.

• Lead and schedule technicians and service advisors; set the standard for speed, quality, and appearance.
• Deliver a consistent, high‑trust customer experience—greet, explain work, resolve issues, and earn repeat and fleet business.
• Own inventory: weekly counts, ordering, shrinkage control, and bay readiness (oil, filters, wipers, additives, shop supplies).

Schedule

Full‑time, on‑site. Store hours require a manager who can work weekends. Preferred time‑off pattern is Sunday plus one other weekday, subject to business needs and coverage.

What You Need

• Proven leadership in automotive service, quick lube, tire/repair, or a similar high‑volume retail/service shop.
• Comfort working the driveway and the office—this is not a sit‑behind‑the‑desk job.
• Strong inventory discipline and basic P&L awareness (labor, cost of goods, car count).
• Clear communicator; professional with customers and direct with the team.
• Valid Texas driver license; ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to stand, lift, and work in a shop environment for a full shift.

Compensation

• Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 per year, based on experience and performance.
• Paid time off / vacation: negotiable.
• This position does not include health insurance, 401(k), or other employee benefits.
