About the Role
As a Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the total holistic omni customer experience in your store, ensuring high visual and commercial standards according to the store format location and global & regional strategies. You lead the full store team to excel, creating an inclusive culture that promotes collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit. You are responsible for analyzing sales and creating plans to optimize results and profits.
A Day in the Life

Customer Sales & Profit
- Ensuring the total OMNI customer experience, visual and commercial presentation according to guidelines and strategies.
- Representing the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions.
- Establishing, analyzing, and following up on sales & budget goals, and creating plans to optimize results.
- Providing personal customer service, guiding customers through fashion stories, and actively selling products.
- Promoting our Customer Loyalty App and in-store sustainability initiatives.
- Scheduling to budgeted hours in line with sales goals.
- Managing store routines like fitting rooms and checkout processes.
- Identifying commercial opportunities, maintaining competitor awareness, and managing store maintenance cost-effectively.
- Handling all administrative routines correctly.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
- Keeping up with fashion trends, styles, brands, competitors, and influencers.
- Ensuring team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions.
- Understanding local area, customer base, competition, and fashion trends.
Team & Development
- Managing talent and performance, including recruiting, onboarding, and development.
- Conducting performance evaluations and succession planning.
- Sharing knowledge and skills with the team.
- Collaborating with Area and store leadership teams.
- Maintaining excellent communication and professionalism.
- Planning and scheduling team activities.
- Communicating regularly to motivate and inform staff.
- Following procedures, routines, security, and legal requirements.
- Participating in onboarding, training, and development courses.
Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution
- Maintaining a clean and tidy store environment.
- Ensuring high-quality visual and product presentation.
- Managing stock levels and providing input on allocation.
- Supporting daily store routines like opening and closing.
- Managing the full garment cycle and fitting room routines according to standards.
- Utilizing tools and technology for store services.
- Maintaining accurate price signs and store information for consistency and safety.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills and enjoyment in taking responsibility for others.
- Confidence in coaching, development, and communication.
- Experience in a leadership role within retail management and operations.
- Ability to work with numbers and manage statistics.

Additional Information
