Job description

Manage all aspects of store operations including but not limited to: sales, vehicle production, customer care, and personnel. Ensure the store operates safely and environmentally compliant, while adhering to administrative policies and procedures.

Compensation range: $85,000/year - $95,000/year

Essential Functions:
  1. Partner with the Environmental Health and Safety Team to ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies. Promote a clean, safe, and compliant store environment for employees and customers.
  2. Manage, train, and develop Managers in Training (MIT), Assistant Managers, Sales Supervisors, Production Supervisors, and Vehicle Purchasing Agents (VPA) for success and advancement.
  3. Oversee staffing, delegate duties, and schedule work hours.
  4. Attract, hire, retain, and develop employees through performance planning, goal setting, and evaluations.
  5. Drive store performance by optimizing sales, production, and vehicle purchasing.
  6. Analyze financial statements and operating statistics to take corrective actions.
  7. Establish community relationships to promote the Pick-n-Pull brand.
  8. Lead by example, following company policies and procedures, and ensure communication and implementation at the store level.
  9. Prepare operating reports for the Regional Director.
  10. Ensure transactions and cash management comply with company policies.
  11. Safeguard company assets.
  12. Partner with internal support resources to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Activities:
  • Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and stretching for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Sufficient vision to perform job functions safely.
Supervisory Responsibility:

Manage and direct the recruitment, training, development, appraisal, and work assignments of managers, supervisors, and hourly employees.

Job Conditions:
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.
Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing, friendly, positive attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Solid quantitative skills to understand financial performance and operating statistics.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management or leadership experience in the automotive field preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
