The Normal Brand is a fast-growing apparel company that sells clothing and accessories online and in over 500 stores in the US. Our brick-and-mortar store in Nashville is located at Fifth + Broadway, and we're looking for a hardworking, personable, goal-oriented Store Manager. The store emphasizes creating a clean, enjoyable, and fun environment.

Responsibilities
  • Inspire, develop, and lead the team to provide an excellent customer experience and drive revenue
  • Manage revenue and payroll
  • Implement high customer service standards throughout the store and team
  • Create and maintain relationships with guests
  • Encourage suggestive selling to maximize revenue
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to HQ
  • Maintain a clean store and merchandise to Normal standards
  • Provide constructive feedback to the District Manager
  • Mentor and develop team members through clear communication
  • Schedule staff efficiently to meet business needs
  • Educate and train team members on product knowledge
  • Participate in weekly calls with peers and District Manager
  • Foster a respectful communication environment
  • Secure the store effectively
Requirements
  • 5+ years of retail apparel management experience
  • Eagerness to learn from feedback and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication with HQ and store team
  • Self-starter with independent, goal-oriented, data-driven, and positive attitude
  • Strong inventory integrity skills
  • Excellent time management and merchandising abilities
  • Approachable, friendly, people-oriented personality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes
  • Change agent mindset
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • 6+ years of retail management experience
  • Fashion/apparel industry experience

  • Proficiency with Shopify and Shopify POS
  • Strong integrity and excellent fashion sense
