Store Managers (SMs) are accountable for leading profitable operations of their store. SMs are responsible for executing the company's retail strategy focusing on customer service, in-stock, and store appearance. They achieve profitability by coaching associates, driving sales through excellent customer service, resolving issues, analyzing financial reports, monitoring market trends, and executing strategic plans. SMs communicate the retail strategy effectively, ensuring its execution through strategic planning and follow-up. They stay engaged by actively participating in sales, operational excellence, and team development, establishing a strong presence via store walks, meetings, and leadership development to build a talent pipeline. A successful SM leads by example, championing people and delivering consistent results in sales, service, and profit.
Reports to: District Manager
Direct reports: 4-9 team members
Travel: Less than 10% overnight travel
Physical requirements: Walking, standing, lifting, and other physical activities as needed
Work conditions: Primarily indoor, mild discomfort possible
