Essential Duties

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements:

1. Leadership and Management: Supervises 2 or more full-time employees, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and managing store operations to ensure excellent customer service and store standards.
2. Store Relationships: Develops positive relationships with suppliers, promotes excellent service, and maintains a safe, positive community image.
3. Training and Development: Conducts performance appraisals, trains employees on customer service, safety, and cash handling, and ensures timely completion of training programs.
4. Communications: Ensures effective communication with employees through meetings and updates.
5. Organizing and Planning: Develops action plans, maintains store files, and supervises reporting and merchandising activities.
6. Financial: Analyzes sales and expenses, manages budgets, safeguards cash, and reports discrepancies to the District Manager.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years retail experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff, operate computer systems, and manage store functions.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Open availability and effective communication skills in English.
• Certifications such as Food Safety Management may be required.

Physical Requirements

• Work at least 50 hours/week, including some outdoor and indoor work in temperature extremes.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, operate equipment, and stand/walk for long periods.

Work Environment

• Work involves indoor and outdoor conditions, with exposure to noise and temperature variations.
• Requires working on all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
