Job summary

Murphy USA is seeking a Store Manager in Idabel, OK to lead a fast-paced retail operation and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You’ll guide staffing, inventory, promotions and day-to-day store activity while advancing the business and team growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (age rules vary by state).
• Bachelor’s Degree or one year of store/retail management experience or two years as Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop your team to achieve success.
• Maintain operating excellence to control expenses, drive sales and promos, manage orders and inventory.
• Support rollout of company initiatives and hit store and district goals.
• Provide best-in-class customer service to customers.
• Stock, clean, operate cash register and perform other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, training and developing your team to grow with us – assume the role of a coach and mentor to your team, guiding them toward success and development
• Maintaining a proactive operational excellence mindset to efficiently manage operation expenses, drive sales growth and promotional activities, manage product orders and inventory, schedule shifts, conduct surveys and continuously strive to exceed company metrics
• Supporting rollouts of company initiatives and reaching store-level and district goals
• Helping your team by demonstrating best-in-class customer service when assisting customers
• Stocking, cleaning, working the cash register and any other additional duties, as needed
