Managers In Training will learn to manage daily store responsibilities from our experienced leaders, working with Training and Supervising Managers across various shifts to understand our operations, vendors, and guest service standards. This role supports the Store Manager and team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Training Process

During training weeks, Managers In Training work alongside Training Managers to learn best practices. Between training weeks, they work shifts with team members to apply their leadership skills. Post-training, they join our bench leadership team, filling in during absences until assigned their own store.

What You'll Do

  • Greet guests warmly and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Assist in building and developing a strong team through training, scheduling, and coaching
  • Monitor product levels, rotate stock, and ensure in-stock availability
  • Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety (for locations with hot food)
  • Maintain store cleanliness and appearance, including the coffee station, food area, and bathrooms
  • Operate cash register efficiently
  • Assist with food service quality and safety programs as needed

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of retail or food service experience
  • Leadership experience in retail, guest service, or restaurant preferred
  • ServSafe/Food Safety certification is a plus
  • Soft skills: high energy, guest interaction, teamwork, adaptability, basic computer skills

Additional Details

  • Full-time, various hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to deliver deposits if applicable, with own vehicle
