Job description

The Store Manager is responsible for the overall success of the store, driving sales, profitability, customer experience, team development, and operational excellence. This role leads all aspects of the business, ensuring financial goals, brand standards, and operational objectives are consistently achieved while fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture.

Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing store team.
  • Drive sales, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Recruit, train, coach, and retain top talent.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
  • Analyze business trends and implement strategies to improve performance.
  • Partner with Regional Leadership and cross-functional teams to execute company initiatives.
  • Deliver an elevated customer experience through personalized service and clienteling.
  • Coach the team to achieve individual and store sales goals.
  • Build and maintain a loyal client base through relationship-driven selling.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to maximize results.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Operations

  • Oversee all daily store operations, including scheduling, payroll, inventory, and reporting.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and operational standards are consistently maintained.
  • Manage inventory accuracy, replenishment, shipping/receiving, and loss prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Talent Development

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Create development and succession plans to support future leadership growth.
  • Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and performance management.

Qualifications Skills

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Proven business acumen and ability to analyze sales performance.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail POS/workforce management systems.
  • Clienteling experience and strong relationship-building skills.

Experience

  • 5+ years of retail management experience, including 3+ years in a Store Manager or similar leadership role, preferably within premium, contemporary, or luxury retail.
  • Proven success driving sales, developing teams, and managing store operations.
