Job summary

FirstCash, Inc. is seeking a Store Management Trainee in Austin, TX. You will work with store leadership to learn daily operations, develop leadership skills, and gain hands-on management experience across merchandise categories including jewelry, electronics, tools, and more.

You will deliver exceptional customer service, assist with training, inventory management, and performance analysis to support store growth and profitability while following asset protection procedures.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous leadership, keyholder, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Basic math and computer skills; experience with retail POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and help create a customer-focused environment.
• Learn and support all aspects of daily store operations.
• Assist with coaching, training, and developing team members.
• Support recruiting and talent development efforts.
• Open and close the store while following asset protection and cash handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Help drive store performance by supporting sales, loan, and profitability goals.
• Learn how to analyze business results and support operational decision-making.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
• Complete management training and development assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
