Job summary

AutoZone’s Store Management team leads store performance and delivers WOW! customer service under the guidance of the Store Manager. The Manager in Training (MIT) is a transitional program designed to prepare you for a Retail Store Management role with hands-on assignments and structured learning.

In 8–12 weeks, you could progress into management depending on experience and performance. This full-time role requires a flexible schedule and strong leadership potential in a fast-paced automotive

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Flexible full-time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• GED or high school diploma; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! customer service, and cultivate a high-performing store team.
• Maintain clear communication with employees and customers to drive store execution and performance.
• Learn to manage and reconcile monthly P&L statements to optimize profitability.
