Job summary

ShopRite in Mt Laurel, NJ is seeking a Store Detective to protect assets and provide a safe shopping environment. You will observe, detect theft, and assist the Loss Prevention Specialist while ensuring excellent customer service.

Salary ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and strong English communication. Vision/dental insurance and PTO benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently.
• Must stand/walk for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.

Responsibilities

• Use loss prevention tools to identify and minimize shrink.
• Detect and apprehend theft in a professional manner per policy.
• Maintain store security and assist in investigations as needed.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
