Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment, stocking, inventory controls, cashier accountability, and daily store operations while ensuring adherence to company procedures and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, diagrams and instructions.
• Strong numerical skills for basic calculations and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling and deposit controls.
• Familiarity with inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems in varied situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Support store merchandising, staging, stocking and pricing according to guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management, damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-store stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Follow company procedures and policies as outlined in handbook and SOPs.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of store funds and cashier accountability.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked stores and a safe environment for customers and employees.
• Operate store in the absence of the store manager.
• Review operating statements to identify trends, costs and opportunities.
