Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff and use equipment.
• Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in CSR/ASM roles.
• Ability to use computer and analyze reports, inventory, cash control.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked and well kept.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisor.
• Schedule employees within guidelines to maximize service and site image.
• Use non-discriminatory management in hiring, training, counseling and separation.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and promote service quality.
• Resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner.
• Promote a safe, positive public image within the community.
• Prepare performance appraisals in writing with constructive feedback.
• Train employees on customer service, site image and safety procedures.
• Establish timely communication with all staff and Market Manager.
• Organize site files and manuals; manage reports for timely completion.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, displayed and priced correctly.
• Ensure employment posters/signs are accessible to all employees.
