Farmers Home Furniture in the United States offers a Store Manager Trainee (SMT) program to develop well‑rounded store leaders through in-store training, Thrive rotations, online learning, and live events. The SMT will learn all major store operations while supporting daily functions in assigned training locations.

The program emphasizes completing Farmers Academy training, Thrive rotations, and live trainings, with potential placement into a permanent Store Manager position upon successful

Competenze

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Three years of supervisory retail or sales experience, or an equivalent mix of training/experience/education.
Valid State Driver’s License and ability to travel overnight.

Mansioni

Supports daily store operations including sales, credit, collections, warehouse, delivery, bookkeeping, and general office functions.
Operates point of sale systems and other operational tools.
Sells merchandise, creates sales/installment contracts, accepts payments, and assists with account approvals.
Assists with inventory counts, store displays, promotions, and sales events.
May work at multiple locations and may manage a store in the Store Manager’s absence.
