Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager's direction, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, complete paperwork, and handle deposits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Retail experience of at least 1 year.
• Supervisory experience of at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees and training.
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise; follow planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash controls.
• Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
