Job summary

Wal-Mart Stores East, LP seeks a store leadership professional to drive customer satisfaction and sales in a dynamic retail environment. You will lead and develop teams, coach associates, and align operations with corporate standards across merchandising, inventory, and service initiatives.

The role requires strong supervision, budgeting awareness, and the ability to implement action plans to deliver results.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, responsible background checks and training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching and coaching associates, providing feedback and guiding store operations.
• Drives financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Ensures customer needs and issues are resolved and upholds exceptional service standards (One Best Way).
• Maintains merchandise presentation, inventory flow, shrink control and seasonal transitions to meet sales goals.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates and promotes a belonging mindset.
