Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include: 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of CBC and firearms training may be required.
• For facilities with ammunition and state requirements, a current state Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
• Associate trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings) must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing performance, and promoting a belonging mindset.
• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and listening to associates; touring stores; providing feedback; communicating with all levels about store operations and company direction.
• Ensures customer service standards by following the OBW model and addressing customer needs, complaints, and issues with action plans.
• Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved.

Education

Two years of college

Retail experience + supervisory experience (1 year + 1 year)

Two years general work experience + supervisory experience

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (preferred)
