Job summary

Walmart is seeking a retail supervisor in Salina, KS to hire, train, and mentor hourly associates while promoting a culture of belonging and exceptional customer service. You will lead store operations, communicate goals, and drive improvements in merchandising, staffing, and customer experience.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing action plans to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Firearms CBC and Firearms Training may be required for certain facilities.
• Indicate ability to complete required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties.
• Promote a culture of belonging and high customer service by modeling the One Best Way (OBW) service standards.
• Analyze P&L, budgeting, and inventory processes to meet sales and store performance goals.
• Lead and develop teams across store operations, drive change, and communicate business objectives to staff.
