Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Florida LLC in Largo is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join the team to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is properly displayed and stocked.

The role requires strong communication, a proven ability to lead teams, and physical capacity to meet the demands of a busy retail environment. This position is full-time and on-site at the Largo store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and functions.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering, damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized.
• Protect company assets, including cash.
• Train and develop store associates and supervise as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
