Job summary

Bath & Body Works in Manchester, NH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in developing outstanding associates and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will help drive growth, lead a customer‑savvy team, and uphold brand standards across the store.

You’ll recruit, coach, and motivate staff, maintain payroll targets, and ensure daily operations run smoothly while delivering the feel-good shopping experience our customers expect from Bath & Body Works.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations and goals.
• Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled to address customer experience, vendor relations, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with Sales Leadership Team to support action plans and execute operational activities.
• Implement and sustain floorset direction to bring the product story to life.
• Perform opening/closing routines including bank deposits and shipment processing.
• Set daily direction and goals for the team.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to managers.
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage.
• Lead in-store customer experiences with selling behaviors and product knowledge.
• Make personalized recommendations and build genuine customer connections.
• Train and coach associates to improve selling and customer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations and accountability.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and adherence to policies.
