Job summary

The Assistant Store Manager at Lids Sports Group in Louisville, KY oversees daily store operations, drives sales, and leads a team to deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll coordinate staffing, training, and visual merchandising while ensuring policies are followed and goals are met.

This role reports to the Store Manager and requires strong communication, team leadership, and a passion for sports and fan culture.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs and goal setting, with regular follow up.
• Administer progressive steps of discipline including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment and helping them understand how their work supports company objectives.
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by adhering to Lids Brand Standards.
