SNIPES USA in Washington, DC is seeking an Assistant Manager to fully manage the store's staff and operations when the Store Manager is absent. You will lead the team, uphold company standards, and execute promotions with accurate signing and merchandising presentation.

You will supervise register operations, train associates, and drive sales while safeguarding cash and adhering to loss prevention policies. This role demands leadership and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years retail leadership experience as Assistant Manager or similar.
• Able to respond to store alarm issues as needed.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager to ensure store standards for cleanliness on sales floor and stockroom.
• Set up sales/promotions with proper signing promptly.
• Process register functions and follow procedures.
• Demonstrate execution of floor sets and promotions on schedule.
• Direct merchandise presentation per Visual Merchandising standards.
• Identify customer needs and ensure assortment meets them.
• Support markdowns/transfers in a timely manner.
• Lead to drive sales and profitability and meet goals.
• Communicate store goals to the team and maximize contributions.
• Monitor performance in sales, productivity, and loss prevention.
• Train associates on register and Aptos functions.
• Secure Company funds per policy.
