Dollar General Corporation in Crossville, TN, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist with supervision, merchandise presentation, deposits, and daily paperwork under the Store Manager's direction.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing scheduling and training, stocking merchandise, inventory control, planograms, and ensuring cash control and refunds are handled properly.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, operate cash register and scanner to itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, restocking, and displaying.
• Maintain accurate inventory by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls.
• Assist with planograms and merchandising presentation as directed.
• Help ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, cash handling, refunds, overrides, tills, and deposits.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
