Dollar General Corporation is looking for an Assistant Store Manager in Adamsville, TN to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist with supervision, merchandising, deposits, and cashiering while protecting assets and driving profitability.

Key responsibilities include scheduling and training employees, executing planograms, improving inventory accuracy, and leading the team in the Store Manager's absence. Previous retail/supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in retail and supervisory preferred.
• Basic math and reading comprehension required.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate the register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings; ensure policy compliance.
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise; implement planograms per Store Manager directions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash controls, including deposits and reporting.
• Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
