Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register and scanner.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees and providing training; conduct safety meetings and ensure policy compliance.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise: receiving, unpacking, stocking, restocking and display building.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by managing damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork and controls.
• Implement and maintain planograms; ensure displays follow established practices.
• Ensure cash handling integrity, deposits and refunds; count tills and deposit to bank.
• Assist in managing store in Store Manager's absence.
