Job summary

Walgreens Co. in the United States seeks a Store Manager to oversee operations of a Walgreens store, including both retail and pharmacy components. You will lead a team, manage merchandising, customer experience, inventory, and compliance with company policies while driving sales and profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and retail management experience, with pharmacy technician registration/licensure pursued as required by state law. Flexible scheduling is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or equivalent.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh within 12 months of start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• PTCB or ExCPT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises operation of the store and pharmacy, including opening/closing and scheduling team members.
• Analyzes financial and performance data; develops action plans to increase sales and control costs.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws; maintains safe, clean store conditions.
• Hires, trains, coaches, and evaluates team members; drives development and performance planning.
• Models exceptional customer service and oversees pharmacy-related duties as required by state law.
