Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to supervise customer service associates, front-end operations, and overall store activities in alignment with company goals. You will lead recruitment, coaching, and performance management while ensuring merchandise execution, store safety, and compliance across pharmacy and retail areas.

Strong leadership, communication, and business acumen are essential, with fluency in English and completion of Walgreens training programs expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong academic record required.
Leadership and communication skills essential for supervisory role.
Completion of Walgreens Store Manager training program (LEAP) or willingness to complete it within 12 weeks.
English reading/writing/speaking fluency required (except Puerto Rico).

Responsibilities

Oversees customer service associates and front-end operations.
Manages store operations, scheduling, and adherence to company policies.
Leads recruitment, coaching, and performance management of team members.
Executes merchandising and loss prevention to protect store assets and drive sales.
Supports pharmacy operations, including as a pharmacy technician during busy periods.
Analyzes financial and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
Ensures store compliance with laws and corporate policies.
