Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations in Tampa. You will supervise Associates, drive customer service, and ensure adherence to company standards.

In this role you will manage scheduling, payroll, and performance, especially in the absence of the Store Manager, while upholding safety and merchandising guidelines across the store.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and follow through to completion.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management and supervision of all areas assigned by the Store Manager and follows policies.
• Learn all phases of Store operations; act in the Store Manager's absence to lead operations.
• Lead and coach Associates; ensure compliance with company standards and best practices.
• Schedule Associates and manage payroll administration as needed.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and customer service standards.
