Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Manager who will oversee all store operations, including staffing, training, and policy compliance. You will drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure a safe, customer-friendly environment.

You will lead frontline teams, open/close store shifts, and uphold cash controls and merchandising standards while delivering excellent customer service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and procedures.
• Strong cash handling and register reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees in compliance with laws and policies.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, and address performance gaps.
• Open and close the store as required, maintaining staffing levels.
• Monitor sales and inventory to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure accurate merchandising, pricing, and signage.
• Maintain cash controls, safety standards and security practices.
• Deliver superior customer service and a clean, safe environment.
