Job summary

Huck’s Market is seeking a Senior Associate to oversee shift operations and support store management at Huck’s Market in Owensboro, KY. The role focuses on delivering prompt customer service, maintaining store standards, and assisting with merchandising, bookkeeping, and safety protocols.

The Senior Associate will promote the Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app, manage deposits and paperwork, and contribute to the store’s profitability and training programs for future promotion and openings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously per Best In Class standards
• Observe shift hours and help fill shifts as needed
• Work manager's days off and at least two evening shifts per week
• Communicate effectively with associates and management
• Follow all laws and store policies
• Provide a model of conduct for others
• Report sales, cash, or operating discrepancies to the Store Manager
• Ensure associates wear proper uniform and deliver prompt service
• Complete shift change reports and record hours
• Record all sales, over rings, refunds, and deposits
• Treat associates with dignity and respect and inform of policy violations
• Maintain store security and safe shopping/working environment
• Follow vendor check-in procedures
• Keep displays stocked and pricing correct
• Maintain equipment and keep high-margin products ready
• Keep store appearance clean and up to standards
• Maintain floors, windows, and parking lot cleanliness
• Keep rest rooms clean and report maintenance issues
• Follow safety lifting procedures and use ladders properly
• Promote Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app and assist customers in sign-up and usage
