Job summary

Huck’s Market is seeking a Senior Associate to oversee a shift, ensuring efficient store operations and strong profitability. You will cover manager shifts, greet customers, and supervise staff while upholding Best In Class standards and company policies.

You may be promoted to store manager upon training completion and the opening of a suitable position. Relocation is negotiable, and you will promote loyalty apps and maintain safety and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and provide courteous service per Best In Class standards
• Observe shift hours and assist in filling shifts as needed
• Work store manager's days off and cover peak hours to ensure strong coverage
• Perform tasks assigned by the Store Manager and communicate effectively with staff
• Ensure compliance with laws and maintain professional conduct
• Monitor sales, cash, and operating discrepancies; report to Store Manager
• Keep uniforms proper and maintain high standards of customer service
• Complete shift change reports and record hours accurately
• Handle daily paperwork, deposits, and cash handling per policy
• Treat all associates with dignity and respect; flag policy violations to the Store Manager
• Maintain store safety and secure handling of cash and merchandise
• Stock and front displays, price merchandise correctly, and keep equipment clean
• Ensure clean, maintained facilities including restrooms, floors, and windows
• Promote Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app and educate customers on benefits
• Support maintenance needs and report issues promptly to management
• Be proactive in merchandising, maintenance, safety, and guest experience
