Job summary

REI is seeking a Store Manager to drive daily operations of the store and manage a retail profit center of $5-$30 million in sales volume. You will reinforce a sales-driven culture and ensure service is prompt while meeting customer expectations.

You will lead Sales Managers and Shop Service Managers, develop staff to hit sales and service goals, oversee store profitability, inventory, and facilities, and engage with the local community to inspire a lifetime of outdoor experiences.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail store management experience (preferred)
• Enjoys communicating and building relationships, inside and outside the organization
• Open to feedback and other viewpoints in the spirit of supporting the business
• Uses business understanding, innovative thinking, and sound judgment to solve problems
• Sets effective goals and establishes priorities
• Organizes and uses resources to meet deadlines and keeps others informed

Responsibilities

• Develop and achieve short and long-term retail plans.
• Manage and delegate planned priorities to Sales Managers and Shop Service Managers.
