Job summary

Walmart in Memphis, TN is seeking a Store Manager to lead a large, dynamic facility. You will direct store operations, merchandising, and the management team to meet sales and service goals while upholding Walmart standards and values.

You will develop talent, manage budgets, control expenses, and implement strategies across the academy and store leadership to drive customer satisfaction and community engagement in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 2+ years general management experience or 4+ years in a similar role with 50+ nonexempt and 5 exempt associates supervised.
• Experience mentoring, hiring, and performance management in a high-volume retail environment.
• Strong financial accountability and budgeting/forecasting experience.
• Ability to recruit, train, mentor, and implement succession planning across multiple store levels.

Responsibilities

• Directs store management and hourly associates across operations, merchandising and company direction.
• Drives sales and profit through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
• Manages staffing, recruitment, training, mentoring, succession planning and employee development.
