Job summary

Gap is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone in our Byron Township store, driving profitable sales through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development. You will coach and develop Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class consumer experience.

You’ll collaborate with the General Manager to execute store strategy, run daily operations, manage performance metrics, and maintain the brand’s standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Passion for delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Support store sales strategies and drive results through a customer-centric approach.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement plans to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent SOP execution.
