Discount Tire is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team, mentor technicians, and ensure safe, efficient service for customers. You will set the store pace, coach staff on the floor, and maintain a positive, safety-focused environment with a promotion-from-within culture.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, strong people skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer experiences across our stores.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive enthusiasm is a plus; training provided.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Busting tires: Install, rotate, balance, repair, and clean new tires and wheels.
• Coaching a team: Train, mentor, and coach a team of 4-5 technicians.
• Managing: Organize new and existing inventory of tires, wheels, wiper blades, and lug nuts.
• Delighting customers: Providing an inviting, easy, and safe customer experience.
• Growing: Learn by doing with hands-on, on-the-job training and development.
