Job summary

Discount Tire is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Minnesota to lead a team, mentor technicians, and ensure safe, high-quality service for our customers. You will promote a people-first, safety-first environment and drive store performance.

You’ll manage inventory, coach a 4-5 technician crew, and deliver an inviting customer experience while embracing our promote-from-within culture and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Automotive enthusiasm appreciated but not required (training provided).
• Experience leading a team is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Busting tires: install, rotate, balance, repair, and clean tires and wheels.
• Coaching a team: train, mentor, and coach a team of 4-5 technicians.
• Managing: organize inventory of tires, wheels, wiper blades, and lug nuts.
• Delighting customers: provide inviting, easy, and safe customer experience.
• Growing: learn by doing with hands-on, on-the-job training and development.
