Parker’s Kitchen in Murrells Inlet, SC is seeking a Store Leader in Training to develop leadership skills while assisting the Store Leader in managing day-to-day operations, including gasoline, retail, and food service.

Primarily assigned to a location, you will cover for the Store Leader within the district, gaining hands-on experience that prepares you for a future promotion to Store Leader.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in a retail operation or relevant experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to work in store operations.
• Completion of Food Safety Certification within the first month of employment is required.
• Completion of a skills-based certification within the first 120 days of employment is mandatory.
• Store Leaders in Training must be able to work varied hours, days, and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist Store Leader with training and coaching team members to maintain high service standards.
• Speak honestly and act with integrity, upholding company values at all times.
• Assist in leading, planning, and organizing store operations, including gasoline, retail, and food service.
• Support the Store Leader in managing staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring training and motivation.
• Step in for the Store Leader during vacations and absences, gaining experience for promotion.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
• Manage daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning, including inventory, ordering, and stocking.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations across store activities.
• Assist in meeting operational standards and productivity goals.
• Assist in managing store budgets and expenses to ensure profitability and cost control.
• Monitor sales, track performance, and work toward financial targets.
• Ensure accuracy in cash handling, register operations, and inventory management.
