Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Ridgeland, MS to lead daily store operations, coach a team, and ensure superior customer service. You will execute selling strategies, manage scheduling, and uphold store standards, while partnering with the Store Manager to meet KPI goals.

This role emphasizes training, inventory control, and visual merchandising. You will develop staff, handle cash operations, and drive a positive, inclusive work environment in a fast-paced retail setting.

• Proven ability to drive sales and minimize loss.
• Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer concerns when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead and train store associates using LIDS Training Programs and set goals for sales and tasks.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Ensure visual guidelines, merchandising, signage and store cleanliness are maintained.
• Open and close the store, manage cash handling and participate in inventory audits.
