Job summary

Save A Lot seeks an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) in Mississippi to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer experiences. You will mentor team members, assist with scheduling, and step in for the Store Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of management experience preferred.
• Experience in scheduling, merchandising, budgeting, and expense control.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and administrative tasks.
• Progressive leadership or management training is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to store team members and drive performance.
• Create a safe, positive store environment for staff and customers.
• Assist with weekly team scheduling and store planning.
• Lead the store in the manager’s absence, including opening and closing the store.
• Oversee building maintenance and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Support discipline and development of team members and drive results.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and ensure store standards.
