Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a focused Store Operations Leader to supervise customer service associates and the front end of the store while supporting pharmacy and retail operations. You will partner with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily execution and drive profitability.

Key responsibilities include coaching teams, managing schedules, leading merchandising improvements, and ensuring policies and safety standards are followed. A strong leader with communication skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or completion of Walgreens internship program or two years of supervisory experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to relocate for promotion or other Walgreens retail assets.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters; manages front end of the store and makes recommendations for overall operations of Pharmacy and Retail Store.
• Supports Store Manager with store operations and scheduling; assumes responsibilities in absence of Store Manager.
• Drives store performance by analyzing data, supervising cash handling, inventory, and merchandising; ensures compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Leads training, coaching, and performance management of team members; develops talent pipelines and ensures proper staffing.
