Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record OR completion of Walgreens Community Internship Program OR High School Diploma/GED with two years in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities including ethics, self-motivation, strong communication, and business acumen.
• Store Manager training LEAP or Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks of start date.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
• Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager, potentially requiring relocation.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Supervises front end and pharmacy operations; leads team to achieve store deliverables.
• Resolves customer issues, coaches team, and improves service metrics.
• Oversees scheduling, shift coverage, and time records to ensure proper staffing.
• Manages cash handling, bookkeeping, and store assets controls.
• Drives store performance through data analysis, SOP adherence, and corrective actions.
• Develops talent pipelines and conducts performance management and discipline when needed.
