Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to recruit and train qualified applicants.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cash control.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to labor laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training and conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps for solutions and coaching, up to termination.
• Open and close the store as needed; personally open the store at least twice a week and close at least twice a week.
• Manage inventory, ordering and replenishment to meet in-stock targets and seasonal needs.
• Maintain cash accountability and secure assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide superior customer service leadership and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment.
