Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct evaluations and address gaps.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations regularly; coordinate meetings and events.
• Ensure that the store is appropriately staffed and opened/closed each day.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify business trends and opportunities.
• Order to meet or exceed in-stock targets and manage inventory weekly.
• Facilitate efficient staging, stocking and storage of merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is presented with proper pricing and signage.
• Maintain inventory levels and cash control procedures.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store.
