AutoZone is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to energize teams, drive sales, and oversee daily store operations in a fast-paced retail setting. You will mentor staff, manage inventory, and ensure WOW! customer service across shifts.

You will lead in absence of store leadership, uphold safety standards, and partner on budgeting and profitability efforts while fostering a high-performance culture and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, supervising, scheduling, training, and developing store personnel.
• Ensure clear communication with employees and customers.
• Help meet sales targets and optimize inventory levels and cash flow.
• Take responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager or Commercial Sales Manager.
• Deliver WOW! service, resolve concerns, and convert complaints into positive experiences.
• Lead initiatives to maximize productivity and retention of high-performing staff.
• Enforce PPE use and promote workplace safety.
• Support budgeting efforts and monitor expense controls to maximize profitability.
