Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps and counsels or terminates as needed.
• Communicates performance, safety and conduct expectations; coordinates meetings and events.
• Ensures store opens/closes as required and staffing supports daily operations.
• Evaluates operating statements for sales, profitability, shrink, and expenses.
• Manages ordering and stock levels; reviews plans and counts weekly.
