Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations, ensuring staffing, training, inventory management, and customer service excellence. You will oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and safety while ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to recruit, hire, train and evaluate employees in line with laws.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Strong organization, problem solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and staff store.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and counsel up to termination.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings.
• Open and close the store at least twice weekly.
• Evaluate operating statements for sales, profitability and inventory trends.
• Order to meet in-stock targets; manage cycle counts and replenishment.
• Ensure proper staging, stocking and storage of merchandise.
• Maintain correct merchandising, pricing and signage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash controls.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Keep store clean, safe and well-equipped; follow SOPs.
• Complete all paperwork and documentation on time.
